Volunteer with EYC

Volunteers can choose their time commitment. Everyone has different skills to offer, so we welcome your input in the area of your strength. To volunteer, you could mentor a student, allow a student to shadow you at your job, tutor a student, take photos or video on site for EYC, or present a special lecture in your area of experience, such as astronomy, engineering, or typography.  Complete a volunteer application and the CSU volunteer form.  Then contact our leadership team to start making a difference today!

EYC is happy to share:

The Georgia Center for Opportunity is launching Hiring Well Doing Good in Columbus to help unemployed and underemployed community members prepare for and find meaningful work opportunities. This survey will help us understand what the most important employment needs are in our community. If you or someone you know is interested, please complete this survey. Take this first step.
Don't let barriers stand in your way!

"In response to COVID-19 and a heightened need to see families find stability through job connections, we have created a HWDG direct link to local jobs. This is a new entry point for HWDG. Once someone has created a profile and used this link to begin their job search, Hiring Well Doing Good will be able to reach out to connect with them further. In this way, we can continue to provide support and job search assistance while we begin to engage with them on the assessment and training needed to continue moving forward.

To use this resource, all job seekers will need to do is answer a few questions and create a profile. They will be able to search for available jobs in the Columbus and Phenix City areas by going to, clicking on Find a Job, and then selecting the Greater Columbus (Georgia) option to set up an account and get started!

We are also currently recruiting volunteer virtual job coaches to assist job seekers as they begin their journey to success. If you know someone who is interested, they can complete this volunteer interest form, and I'll reach out with details."
